Celebrated a 40th birthday with this super cool guy, Jeremiah Sorrels tonight on our usual pizza night.
I made a Blue Velvet cake with milk chocolate icing. The cake says “Remember the Memories”, which I did the best I could with some squeeze tube icing. Hey, I’m no chef….
I was at Jeremiahs house one night with Bill and he was looking through a box of old things, a girl he was friends with had written “Remember the Memories!” in his high school year book and for some reason we just lost our shit laughing about that phrase and it’s stuck with us ever since.
J is into robots and odd things, so we found a tiny wind up robot and a wind up toy that actually kind of looks just like Jeremiah to put on the cake.
It was a fun night, as Tuesday night pizza always is…. but tonight was extra special.
By ‘themotoquest’ on instagram: Loving my hand-build tank by @Vervemoto. Verve Moto is specialised in handmade custom motorcycles and The Moto Quest bike will be representing their level quality of work. Instead of just buying the required spare parts, they have been manufactured and tailored for my ride. Tank, fenders, exhaust, seat, handlebars and the faring are not just from the shops. To make a handmade tank for example, it takes a month of hard work but the final product is astonishing. Verve makes them out of a single sheet of metal and it’s really amazing to see how it is taking its shape.
