Nice short jaunt along the river today. There are so many odd things in this area if you just slow down to look at them, like a random circle of stones and a tiny Noah’s Ark. WTF?
Cruised around the neighborhood yesterday on the Masi Sprint, the former owner did a great job piecing this thing together, funny to say it’s the lightest bike I own. I will need to switch those drop bars out though, they are far too wide for my shoulders.
Another blast from the past, this was sometime before 2010 when I lifted weights. This is the only picture that exists of me in a pair of shorts aside from cycling garb.
Found some old pictures of me on the flood wall. Dang. Even though I’ve lost a significant amount of weight since high school it’s hard to not see pictures of myself as the old “super fat Ella”.
Session number two of my noggin’ today by Dennis Pase at Five Star Tattoo. One more session to toss some color into it then it’s a wrap and I can work on growing my glorious mane back out. :)
I turned 33 today. My hair has 8 days growth on it since having been shaved bald for dome blasting at Five Star Tattoo. I’m sitting next to my pal Daryl Sullivan and we acted like fools, it’s nice to do that from time to time. Once upon a time we played some rock music together. We hang out at the New Albanian every Tuesday, I call it Senior’s Night. Tonight I got a piece of chocolate cake, they just happened to have a single candle and my pal Jeremiah just happened to have a lighter.
No bike riding today, but I get off at noon tomorrow so there is hope for a good pedal tomorrow!

Me. Just now. Shaved my hair down with a pair of clippers sans guard in prep for dome blasting tattoo tomorrow. Dennis asked that I shave it down with a razor tonight before I come in tomorrow, the clippers irritated my skin a bit so I’m giving my scalp a few hours to chill out before I take it down to the skinny. I’m nervous more about shaving my head and not cutting myself than I am about getting the tattoo. One appointment tomorrow for the outline and shading and one appointment on Valentines Day for the finish up. I am going to try my hardest to sit tomorrow and hopefully get it all done but I know Dennis has other appointments. My hair will be grown out immediately after the work is finished…. it’s really weird to feel air blow across my head.
